Vita Insomne

Vita Insomne, a band formed at the end of 2015 in Granada between Fernando Cuesta and Víctor Alonso, the core of this band, which is joined by a group of friends with common interests and tastes with the aim of composing and performing a few songs with which to start moving around Granada.
.

After their formation, the band won the second prize of RecPlay-Otoño in Verso de Diputación in 2016 and first prize in the emerging band competition of the Andalusian Young Designers Contest, having also been semifinalists in Pulpop Festival 2017, semifinalists in MusicAula 2017 and finalists in Indio Rock Festival and Málaga Crea Rock’ 17 together with important bands of the national musical scene.
.

In 2016 they recorded their first ep “Astro rutina” (self-published), which was followed by “Crónicas de invierno” (2017) a recording produced by Diputación de Granada as a RecPlay award, which was distributed in a limited edition and in 2017 have published their second album “Discurso de astronautas” (also self-published), presented last November in Planta Baja, with resounding success.
.

The group, which in less than two years has managed to play in the most important halls of music of Granada, Malaga, Jaén, Almería and Madrid accumulating a good number of live performances in a short time. An intense filming that led them to decide to get into the studio last summer with Raúl Parra (Parra Music) in charge, who has recorded, mixed and produced “Speech of Astronauts” in Ekus Sound (Deifontes) and Fusible Estudios (Almería), an EP with four tracks that is already available on digital platforms.
.

Framing this work in the category of “indie” would be very simplifying a few songs loaded with sharp riff, resounding drums and melodies that oscillate and play with the average times, pauses and climbs with which they manage to tell fresh stories aimed at a young audience not only old age, but spirit. A voice with a lot of personality that breaks stereotypes and shows that the artistic singularity, combined with good melodies and catchy compositions are a letter of introduction with enough arguments to fix the sight (and the ear) in this band.
