Born in Sabadell and based in Madrid, Nora Norman became known thanks to her wonderful voice, in 2014 after uploading several covers on YouTube.
After participating in the Mulafest, 101 Sun Festival, being Nick Waterhouse’s guest artist or part of the Dremen collective, in 2015 she creates her band formed by musicians from the jazz scene in Madrid.
In 2016, she published her first EP “Nora Norman”, with a neo soul sound, impregnated with influences such as John Legend or Benjamin Clementine.
In 2017 she has taken part in important festivals such as Mad Cool, Sonorama, Actual Festival, Ballantines True Music Festival or Beefeater´s Red Sessions, and has gone from going to all the jam sessions in Madrid to having one under her name in Barco concert venue. She was also honored to open Gloria Gaynor’s concert in Gran Canaria and to be Seal’s guest artist at Noches del Botánico last summer. Following the success in Spain, Nora was selected by Sounds From Spain to travel to New York and participate in the most important Hispanic music initiative in the United States, the Latin Alternative Music Conference.
She is currently recording her first album, which will be released in early 2018.
